On arrival at the resort, the Jungle guide with Hotel Manager will give the guests a short briefing on their program, and assign them their rooms. A delicious lunch prepared by hotel with expert kitchen staff will be served to our guests. Tharu Village Walk: The Tharu people are indigenous to the area, and their culture is very unique and different from what can be found in Nepal or even India. Guests can immerse in the local culture by strolling through the local Tharu village. This also includes a visit to the Tharu Cultural Museum. During this walk our naturalist will also brief them about the social and cultural aspects of the villagers and their lifestyle. Jungle Walk: Guests can walk into the jungle, accompanied by our jungle expert. They can watch birds, flora, and fauna, and get a complete and intimate experience of nature for themselves. Happy hour followed by Sundowner: Guests can take a breather and enjoy the peaceful view of the river at our deck area, watching the wildlife and nature, lounge around the resort premises, order drinks at the bar, and just relax. The sunset is very beautiful as well, and is an experience that shouldn’t be missed. Tharu Cultural Dance: Guests will able to enjoy the local Tharus from the village showcasing their traditional Tharu stick dance. The dance is an age-old tradition of the Tharus and is usually performed to appease the gods during religious festivals. Guests will be served dinner prepared by our excellent in-house chef using locally sourced fresh produce.

Crocodile Conservation Project visit (if you are staying at Western Part of Chitwan not Sauraha): Guests will be taken to the Crocodile Conservation Project, an initiative to preserve and protect the endangered crocodiles of the park. Established in 1971, the Gharial (distinguished from other crocodiles by its narrow snout) conservation center has been breeding this endangered species and releasing them to the wild every year. Our naturalist will accompany them, guiding them and providing information about various methods and programs being undertaken to increase Gharial population in the wild. Canoeing After the visit to Crocodile Conservation Project, guests will be taken on a boating tour in a traditional Patela boat, which will take them down serenely along the Rapti river, which will also have aquatic birds, Gharials and other animals on the river banks. The boat ride lasts for approximately 45 minutes. Visit Elephant Breeding Center (only in Sauraha): At the Elephant Breeding Center in Chitwan, guests can witness a unique and insightful experience. They can observe and learn about the breeding and conservation efforts dedicated to Asian elephants. Guests have the opportunity to see adorable baby elephants and their mothers up close, witnessing their playful interactions and bonding moments. The center provides an educational environment where visitors can gain a deeper understanding of elephant behavior, reproduction, and the importance of elephant conservation. It is a remarkable opportunity to appreciate the beauty and majesty of these gentle giants and contribute to their preservation. Elephant Back Safari or Jeep Safari: After lunch go for Ride atop a gentle elephant as it takes you deep into the heart of the jungle.
